Built by the Moors at the end of the twelfth century, the Koutoubia Mosque is the most impressive of Marrakech with its minaret (70 m), visible to more than 50 km. It is one of the three minarets built under the dynasty and the best preserved. It is impossible to visit the Mosque for the non-Muslims.
